I don’t know if any of you guys have heard of Influenster, but either way if you are a member or not, you guys need to check it out! They just relaunched their site on September 27th. Let me tell you about it and I promise you will want to join as soon as you are done reading this post.
What is Influenster?
Influenster is a site for culture junkies, beauty junkies and trendsetters of all ages to try new products for free and share their opinions with the rest of the world. Not only do you get to test out new products, you also get exclusive deals, content and reviews from people just like you. So if you are thinking about trying that new mascara that came out or some other new product, but don’t know if it’s worth it, this would be a great site to belong to.
What do I have to do?
The site is free so go ahead and join now! Once you log on, make sure to fill out your profile and link your social media accounts (facebook, twitter, pinterest, google+, youtube, etc) to raise up your Influenster score…the higher it is, the more likely you are to get selected to participate in the programs (and get free stuff!). Your score is based on how much you participate in the Influenster community. Your next task would be to start applying for your expert badges. There are several, but you are only allowed to pick 5 (they want you to be really good at a few things, not ok at a lot of things). The more you do reviews and participate in the community, the higher your expert badges scores go. The best Influensters with the highest scores get chosen to recieve a VoxBox. A VoxBox is a box filled with themed products that gets sent to you for free based on individual demographics and scores. So the moral of the story is: the more you participate, the more cool stuff you get! Not a bad deal, huh?
What’s all the hoopla about this relaunch?
On September 27th Influenster relaunched their site and I have to say, I really like it! The site is more maneuverable and user-friendly. Your profile page is tailored to you specifically. When you open up your profile page, you have your tasks right in front of you. It shows all your scores and also recommends things for you to do to raise your Influenster score and to gain more badges. Influenster is making it easy on you! What are you waiting for? Go join!
