FASHION FORECASTING.

Please excuse my messy bedroom! (I’m in the process of organizing.) These were just some really quick photos I took and used for a project (with a lot more photo-shopping) for my Fashion Fundamentals class. The project was a fashion forecasting project and I chose to forecast for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. It was hard starting out, but once I did some research and got some ideas down, it was so much fun! I could definitely see myself being a fashion forecaster in the future.  I think a lot of trends from the 70’s are coming back. I’ve definitely starting to see a lot of bellbottoms around the blogosphere. What do you guys think? What other trends do you think are coming around?

I absolutely love everything in this outfit (together and separate)! I got the top for $3, the shoes are freaking awesome, and who can resist a pair of vintage cutoff levi’s? Not I, bloggers, not I. I know I don’t look like a happy camper, I was up really late finishing my project and I was tired. I know you guys are probably saying, “More enthusiasm please!”

COMPARISONS ARE EASILY DONE ONCE YOU’VE HAD A TASTE OF PERFECTION.

Hey guys!! This post is a little overdue! Last semester I had my first sewing class, Apparel I, and this blouse and skirt are the results! Although it was a lot of hard work, the class was so much fun and I am definitely going continue on and take Apparel II. What do you guys think of my creations? I really liked the way they turned out.

I’m really sorry I haven’t been a very good blogger, but if you read my previous post, it explains my dilemma. Thanks to you guys who continue to follow me despite my lack of posting…you guys are awesome!! :)

A LITTLE DEPTH.

Hey guys! I know it’s been a LONG while. I have been so so so busy. Along with going to school full time and having a job, I have had a creative block since after the new year. Has this happened to any of you before? I’ve definitely had a block before, but never for this long before. It’s quite frustrating. Anybody have any good advice for getting out of this creative block? Even when I’ve tried to make myself put outfits together, I just become frustrated and then become disinterested. I don’t know what to do! I definitely still love blogging and I will always love fashion, I just need some pointers for getting out of this rut!
