Hey guys! Hope everyone has a great day and enjoys their turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes! I have so many things to be grateful for:

Being able to go to college

A new car and new job! (both within the last month!!!)

My family and friends

My boyfriend and best friend

I truly am a blessed person! :)

On a sad note, I have been a terrible blogger…I promise that I will be putting up the rest of the 30 for 30 remix outfits so that everything is up to date.  I have been taking photos, I just have been so busy with final exams coming up soon, starting a new job, and spending time with my family that I have hardly had time to get everything done. I apologize for being a terrible blogger and I will try my hardest to keep up with the posting!!

TRAINING TO BE A WINNER. (2/30)

So this is what I wore to my first day of training at my new workplace, J.C. Penney’s!

Today was eventful.

The good news: Training went really well and I had a lot of fun! I think I’m going to like working at J.C. Penney’s. Plus, I’m assigned to work in the shoe department…need I say more?! :)

The bad news: Trusting a person that you thought would make a good roommate, but definitely did not, and now you wholeheartedly regret it. Yes, that basically sums up my despair. Looks like I need to find new living arrangements next semester. Perhaps something better will come up…everything happens for a reason, right?

Anyways, has everyone seen the new Olsenboye holiday collection at J.C. Penney’s? I have to say I really like some of the pieces! I know they are giving some of their stuff as rewards on Chictopia. I hope I can cross my favorite pieces off my list because I have an employee discount now…WAHOO!!!!

Today my grandmother called me and asked me what I want for Christmas…and I didn’t know! Usually I have some kind of idea of what I want, but I’ve been so busy, I haven’t even thought about it! So today got me thinking and I made a Christmas Wish List of big ticket items.

I need the first desperately, the camera I have now produces very poor quality photos (I must apologize!). The second and third are purely wants, and the fourth is for organizational purposes for my bedroom. Of course, even though these are all non-fashion related wants, there’s always room for additions to my closet! But we’ll save that for another post! :) What do you guys want for Christmas?

FINALLY!

Whoooo! Lots of hard work and me figuring out my new paint program (frustrating!) bring you my items for the 30 for 30 Challenge…FINALLY!

 

6 shirts + 7 bottoms + 3 dresses + 6 things that keep me warm + 8 pairs of shoes = 30 fabulous items that I will be wearing for the next 30 days!

I’ll be posting the first outfit tomorrow! :)

 

LOVE FOR EMMA.

I don’t know about you guys, but I have always been on Team Emma. She’s absolutely gorgeous and I love her personality! I would recommend reading the interviews from Marie Claire and Vogue UK (both are in the December 2010 issues).

QUICK UPDATE!

I am an idiot. I went and stayed at my parent’s house this weekend and left my camera on accident! I am so mad at myself!! I am going to try to get my mom to mail it to me. As far as the 30 for 30 challenge goes, I’m still going to do it, it’s just going to be postponed for a couple days!

EXCITING NEWS!

As I was reading up on my blogs yesterday, I came across a post that really got me excited. Kendi Lea of Kendi Everyday featured the 30 for 30 Challenge on a recent blog post. Here’s what’s up:

1. You pick out 30 items from your closet. Meaning pants, tops, skirts, shoes, etc. etc. Coats and accessories (tights, jewelry, hats, gloves, etc. etc.) are not included in that 30, so you can use any amount you would like. And don’t worry if you don’t have 30 items, you can do 20 for 20, and so on and so forth.

2. For 30 days, you wear outfits created solely from those 30 items. A remix challenge, if you will.

3. No shopping for 30 days! Sorry!

What is the point of this whole endeavor , you ask? To use what you have and to stretch the boundaries of your closet. Get creative and try it! You might find new ways to wear your clothes that you never thought possible! :)
